TOGETHER WE CAN FIGHT HUNGER
Serving Change is a fundraising campaign to support the World Food Programme, started by Rasmus Munk, founder of restaurant Alchemist in Copenhagen. We are calling chefs, restaurants, and food lovers around the world, to help donate meals to those who need them the most.
$0.80 = 1 MEAL
Global hunger is at record levels with 319 million people facing acute food insecurity. Fuelled by conflict and the effects of climate change, more and more people are being pushed further into hunger.
To ensure the most vulnerable people get lifesaving aid, the World Food Programme is on the ground providing food and assistance to almost 100 million people in 123 countries worldwide. Each day, WFP has 5,600 trucks, 30 ships and nearly 100 planes on the move delivering support to those who need it most.
The World Food Programme can deliver a meal for just $0.80 – so every donation, small or large, can change lives.

Where does my money go?
The World Food Programme (WFP) is the world’s largest humanitarian agency, providing food assistance and saving lives in emergencies across 120 countries. It was founded in 1961 and operates on voluntary donations, having assisted 124 million people in 2024.
WFP addresses both immediate hunger through emergency relief and longer-term goals by providing school meals, improving nutrition, and helping farmers with food waste.
The funds donated in this campaign will be allocated to those in the greatest need of food and assistance around the world.
The World Food Programme was awarded the Nobel Prize Peace in 2020 for its efforts to combat hunger, promote peace in conflict-affected areas and prevent the use of hunger as a weapon of war and conflict.
